Is Time Moving Faster?

Posted: February 2, 2012 in Life in General

Maybe it’s the older a person gets, but it certainly seems as though time zips along at a pace I have never seen.  I know being busy at work and at home makes for time consuming duties however I’m utterly amazed at the fact today is already Thursday, February 2nd, 2012 and I sort of don’t know where January went!  Between the daily grind, the meetings and various functions included, combined with the after-work taxi service for kid activities seems to make days start and end at an alarming pace.   Maybe someone can come up with a process that could slow time for small increments?  Get on that, you deep thinkers.

The Super Bowl hype is exhausting.  Way too many talking heads giving their opinions and just wearing out the game already.  Seems like everybody likes the Giants but Vegas is not budging from their Patriots +2.5 line.  Vegas has made money in 19 of the last 21 Super Bowls so they know something many people don’t.  Personally, I like the Giants 28-26, but of course that means nothing.

Took my son to a golf instructor last night. Within the first half hour, he was tuned in and striping the ball.  Seems the 14-year old body is uber-flexible and his hips were turning way too far back and that decreased the torque or coil his body could produce, making for weak and erratic shots.  A good shoulder turn with a little less hip turn produced a kid who was much more consistent, hitting his 8 iron 150yds.  It was good to see.

On day 88 of Insanity!!  Taking it to a new level.  Next week the hybrid workout begins by mixing in a couple P90X workouts every week.  All is good!

Later Cats!
