I was a huge fan of The Monkees. They were the first real musical band I could watch (with The Monkees TV show) and actually hear on the radio. Davy Jones was my favorite, of course, but I loved what they did and how much fun they had. Davy’s fatal heart attack at 66 makes today incredibly sad….he’ll be missed.
